Late night.  Considering the details.  3am hunger setting in.  Delusions.   
Speakers bleed sound.  Beautiful tempo.  With curves and rhythm.  Dancing.

a boat sits in a lake, aloneA small boat sits alone in the center of a lake. It sits.   
The lake is still. Frigid water, mirror-glass stretching shore to shore. If you were there you could look down and see your reflection. It would show you all the little things wrong with you and wrong with the world and wrong with everything.   
If you were there you could look up and see a gray sky. Gray like rain. Holds the chance of it up and dares you to step outside. And you shouldn't step outside, it seems to say. You shouldn't go outside. Outside is dangerous. Things die outside. People die outside.   
People die outside.
